Welcome to the 2017/2018 season!

Created by FIRST® and the LEGO® Group, FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. (FLL Jr.) is the first of four progressions of programs designed to introduce STEM concepts to kids aged 6 to 10. Guided by 2 coaches, teams of up to 6 members will explore a real-world problem and design a solution with the use of LEGO.

Each FLL Jr. season begins when the challenge is released. Teams meet each week for around 8-12 weeks to look into the challenge. Teams learn basic programming through LEGO Education WeDo and build a motorized model of their solution using the Inspire Model and other LEGO elements. They also create a Show Me poster to demonstrate their journey and discoveries. At the end of each season, teams may participate in an expo to meet, celebrate, share their ideas, and have fun. In the process, teams learn about teamwork, the wonders of science and technology, and the FIRST LEGO League Jr. Core Values, which include respect, sharing, and critical thinking.
